The
Experience of Adopting
Welcome
to our Lee Middleton Newborn Nursery Adoption Center. We
are proud to be one of the first Newborn Nurseries
operating in a retail location. It's designed much
like the adoption center at the factory in Belpre, Ohio.
We are honored to be a
part of this exciting program in which you can enjoy an
adoption experience that will be remembered for a lifetime
it's an experience for the entire family.
You are first asked to fill out an
"Adoption Application" which helps us make sure
that you are a good candidate for becoming an adopting
parent.
After your application
has been approved, you look at all the babies through our
hospital window and decide on the one that is just right
for you. If you're having trouble picking out a name we
have a book of baby names to help in the naming
process. A personalized hospital bracelet is prepared and
put on the baby so that your baby won't be confused with
any other baby. You then put on a white "sterile"
gown so that you can enter the nursery (delivery room) and observe our
nurse as she does a complete health check up on the baby.
The nurse will even give you some special insights into
your own baby's personality and likes and dislikes. The
Birth Certificate is then prepared, signed by all the
necessary parties and embossed with a seal (baby’s
footprint) to make it official. New parent is presented
with a packet containing all of the
baby's important papers. You sit in the big rocking chair in the nursery to pose for the first
picture with your new little one and your adoption is
complete!

Viewing
your selection for the first time.
If you are close to our store in Rogers, Arkansas,
please come by and visit. Appointments for adoptions are
welcome but certainly not necessary. Birthday Parties and Bus tours are also
welcomed. Appointments for the tours is appreciated.
